  • Edwin VAn Bunderen

    Live guitar

    Edwin started playing guitar at age 20. He studied Guitar and Music Theory through both professional training and private instruction. He enrolled in the Jazz Studio in Antwerp for three years. He performed with several jazz combos and ensembles as part of his musical education and ongoing artistic development.

    With well over two decades of experience in the music industry, he has built a diverse and dynamic career as a guitarist in Sherman Oaks, Crusader, 4th Knox and other bands or (studio) projects

    Founder and manager of one of Brussels’ premier guitar shops. Groove Street 98 has become a local hub for musicians, offering high-end instruments, personalised service, and community support.

  • Chun De Stockel

    Live vocals

    Self-taught and immersed in a musical culture that oscillated between the Bee Gees and the Police through his parents, Chun de Stockel gained attention with his appearance on The Voice in 2014, combining humor and joy.

    After playing in several bands in his younger years (Beyod the Moon, Chun and the Spoons), he now finds himself by chance in the Holy Funky Ducks.

  • Denys Ugeux

    Live drums

    Denys is a passionate and highly motivated drummer with a brilliant sense of rhythm and dynamics, He brings unmatched energy, precision, and musicality to every performance. He started playing more seriously at age 16. Some of his projects are : the Belgian hip-hop artist,"James Deano" – 2005 Tour, DECIBREL – Jacques Brel Tribute Project

    Interpreted classic chansons with a modern, percussive twist. Dynamic Band (Hip-hop Soul Ensemble)

    Collaborated on original compositions and live performances.

    He studied in Jazz Studio Antwerp for four years, Jazz, World Music & Latin Drums. Comprehensive training in drum techniques, music theory, ensemble playing, and improvisation.

    He delivers explosive grooves as the driving force behind a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band, called The Holy Funky Ducks.

  • Phil Cleda

    Live bass

    Self-taught at the beginning, he joined Easy Rider, a classic rock cover band (Hendrix, JJ Cale, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin...). The group was active in the region of Tournai and Mouscron.

    He then briefly joined another rock and afro music cover group then active in the Liège region, Lisanga.

    After studying at university, he decided to deepen his musical knowledge and studied jazz for 5 years at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp.

    He played in various amateur jazz combos and at the same time, began to compose a repertoire of pieces tinged with jazz, world music and groove.

    He founded a quartet to play his compositions, Okawango, which met with enthusiasm and great success during a few concerts. Alas, in the midst of the Covid crisis, the group separated.

    In 2023, the idea of forming a cover band of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, of which he is an absolute fan, became a reality. On this occasion, he meets Den and Ed, former students of the same class at the Jazz Studio.

    Beginning of a new adventure...
